Aerosol KK8 Mat/Flat Finish Clearcoat Kit

The KK8 Eggshell aerosol kit is just like ColorRite’s popular catalyzed KK7 clearcoat, but it’s designed to deliver the semi-suede eggshell matte tone appearing more and more on late-model bikes.  Catalyzed paints stand up far better to natural and chemical assaults on the integrity of the clearcoat than standard clears, and ColorRite has batched that durability with the ease of aerosol and the street-race sneaky look of an eggshell matte finish.

A multi-piece kit like ColorRite’s KK7, the KK8 Eggshell Clearcoat Kit comes equipped with the sprayer, six-ounce driver pack, six ounces of CR-140 clear urethane and two ounces of clear hardener.  The hardener and urethane are mixed to produce the necessary hot-shot catalyzed eggshell clearcoat.

Important – ColorRite products are designed to work with ColorRite products, and our testing is brand-specific.  We can’t honor our warranty or durability claims if you combine different manufacturers’ paints and clears, and you might wind up with inferior performance.  When we build a Honda engine, we bolt a Honda head to the Honda block, and the same goes for paint.
