Aerosol KK7 Urethane High Gloss Clear Kit

Formulated as the exposure-proof alternative to ColorRite’s standard clearcoat, the KK7 gloss clear is a catalyzed urethane that holds up to everything short of a car accident. Able to withstand gasoline, WD40, acid rain and most of the nastier substances your bike’s paint could meet, it can be applied to your fresh color with the included combination sprayer. Because so many OEM and OEM-style paints need a clearcoat to work properly, ColorRite developed an aerosol-based catalyzed clear that can handle tough duties above and beyond standard clearcoat.

Because this is a catalyzed clearcoat, multiple components are necessary for it to work properly. They’re all enclosed in the KK7 kit. Six ounces of CR-410 urethane clear, two ounces of clear hardener, the six-ounce power pack and a snap-on sprayer. The short steps to shootable clearcoat are simple and detailed in enclosed instructions. This clear is compatible with all other ColorRite urethane clears.

Important – ColorRite does not test their clearcoat against other brands of paint, and other brands of clear may not work with ColorRite colors. By sticking to one brand, you’re sure to have a compatible series of paints that will apply and dry properly. You’ll void all ColorRite warranties if you mix their product with other paint brands. This ain’t a marketing ploy, just smart science.
